About Birmingham Drag and Burlesque Festival:
The first festival of its kind in the United Kingdom is landing right here, in the second biggest city, the land of the 0121, the birthplace of Black Sabbath and where ‘Bab’ is used as a greeting more than hello… Birmingham! 

On November 6th-8th 2026, step into a world of utter fabulousness, jaw dropping glamour and outrageous humour, where both the weird and wonderful are championed. Celebrating all the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent that Drag and Burlesque has to offer. With a commitment to showcasing international performers and platforming stars of Birmingham…  Expect cabaret on steroids!

Produced by ‘Birmingham’s Queen of Burlesque’, Dominus Von Vexo, founder of  House of Allure. The festival will be a sparkling, scintillating, steamy cocktail of shows and workshops in the bull’s eye of the city. Sizzling showgirls, daring drag, comedic clowning, bawdy burlesque is but a tease of what is to come; across various venues that contribute and define the creative heartbeat of the city. 

In the words of Brummie legend, Julie Walters, “Stage is the most exciting!” and we cannot wait to bring you that thrill.

‘I am ecstatic to be launching and producing the first festival of its kind, right here in Birmingham! My home town! Celebrating our wonderful city and these utterly energetic, expressive art forms. After selling out numerous shows across the city… I felt it was time to make this dream a reality! Birmingham is in for a treat and I can’t wait to boost the platform of Birmingham’s artistic talent… we are after all the second biggest city. It will be a fabulous, creative and authentic display of local, national and international skill… I simply can’t wait!’

About Dominus Von Vexo:
The Powerhouse Diva, Dominus Von Vexo is an exquisite international performer with sex in their heel. The ‘Queen of Birmingham Burlesque’ has fast become one of the most awarded burlesque and drag artists in the city. Making significant impact in the queer performance scene; leading them to be one of the most in demand producers in the West Midlands. Selected credits include: Channel 4, Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and Birmingham Pride Festival. Holding a fierce commitment to growing talent, inclusivity and creativity through their work with House of Allure; they continue to have a string of sell out shows. House of Allure is a diverse cabaret, burlesque and drag collective established in 2017. Trailblazing and a significant pioneer in the drag and burlesque scene in Birmingham. Having sold out all 34 of their shows in the heart of the queer scene, boasting up to five minute standing ovations, leading to critical acclaim. Whether it is through shows or classes, House of Allure has a commitment to celebrating the empowering joy burlesque and drag brings. With a focus on inclusion, creativity and fun!
